As well as being an Advanced Driver, Larry holds American Driving Society officials tickets – “R/Senior” in Driving Dressage, Combined Driving and “r” as a Technical Delegate. He served as Past President of the American Driving Society Dressage Committee and is a member of the Licensed Officials Committee.
Larry is a Level 2 English certified coach with Equine Canada. He has clients in Eventing, Dressage and Driving disciplines. With clients in the Eventing Dressage and Driving disciplines, he has coached and trained Dressage & Driving riders and horses through the FEI levels in both disciplines. He is also an Equine Canada official in Basic Dressage (ridden) as well as “r” Jumper Judge, “r” in Hunter/Jumper Course Design and Eventing – Level 3.
In addition to competing, coaching, training horses and officiating, Larry has served in numerous capacities with national and local equestrian organizations and filled almost every conceivable position for horse competition management. (see clinic form below)

RECREATIONAL OR COMPETITIVE DRIVING IN DRESSAGE, CONES AND/OR OBSTACLES

This Clinic is designed for the beginner and above to learn the rules and principles of participating in a CDE (Combined Driving Event). Sessions will include 45 minutes with a group of 3 drivers in any or all of the disciplines. Each session will start on the hour beginning at 9 am until noon, where we will break for lunch and where questions can be asked. The sessions will include driving your horse and learning the rules and the etiquette of this sport. Use this clinic for preparation for the Mighty Mini CDE the following weekend. If you participate in the Clinic and CDE, you'll get $15 off only the CDE fee.
Clinic registration open now. Your check will guarantee your spot in the clinic. I will create a waiting list for those who didn’t get into this clinic. Registrations will be listed in the order in which they arrive. (see clinic form below).

Jacques Poppen Clinic at CSHP

Jaques is a Gold Medal winning Para Driver from The Netherlands, and a registered dressage judge. He will be here to work with all levels of drivers for three days, April 4, 5, 6. Lessons are available every day; participants can choose to work on their skills in dressage, obstacles, or on cones. (see clinic form below)
